Well, it's so hot now, let's go to the sea!!! It seems like everyone is going to the sea in this summer. We then will go to enjoy the sea in Hong Kong. If you are ready, let's go!!!

Cape D'Aguilar is a cave located at the D'Aguilar Peak. Both of them are included in Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve. I hope you will not get confuse. To make thing clearer, from now on I will call Cape D'Aguilar as 'the cave'.

Again, we start our journey with the metro which is very convenient here. We start at Shau Kei Wan Station and take the Exit A1 or A3 in order to take the bus no. 9 or the mini bus at the exit heading towards Shek O. Then, we get off at Cape D' Aguilar Road which is about half an hour ride. It's very easy to walk on this road as the road is paved. We walk about 45 minutes while enjoying beautiful view along the way.

We keep walking until we see the white building of the University of Hong Kong Swire Institute of Marine Science (such a long name), then it's time to climb up on the rocks as the road ends here. Well, for the sake of beautiful view and photos, we are more than willing to do so.

Once we reach here, we will see Kau Pei Chau Island. Judging by the eyes, it seems like we could just walk there but we actually can't as the waves could take us elsewhere.

After climbing here and there and getting enough photos, we walk across these rocks to find the cave. Here is called Cape D'Aguilar. It is the legendary rock cave where local people like to stand and let the wave hit them inside the cave. Probably for the sake of feeling fresh or due to certain belief? The purpose of it, I'm not sure.

When the sun is set, it's time to go home. I also follow the rule that "go and back on the same route so that I won't get confused and lost!!!" So then, I walk back to take the bus at the same place but on the opposite side which take you back to downtown. Please be careful to take the bus on the right side, otherwise, I also can't tell where it will lead you to.
