Throughout the October, Tables Grill restaurant of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Hotel has organized a wine dinner with 5-courses menu. The food was matched with a specially selected wines once a week. Each time there will be no duplicate menu and wine. It is considered to pamper wine lover and special price is offered to those who are interested. For this review, Joseph Drouhin Winer Dinner is a main theme of this event which was just held on 9 Oct 2015, let's go and taste it together.

Tasmanian Oyster
Cucumber – Celery – Granny Smith Apple

Strip it right away, added its flavor and sweet with Celery foam and soft apple.

Making a well-balance taste of the food.

Various kinds of bread with unlimited serve.

The price includes unlimited beverage, Still of Evian and S.Pellegrino sparkling water serving for the whole event.

Scallop
Peas – Brioche – Pancetta

Big shell, thick, looks very good, sweet and soft scented flesh, the winged bean and Italian beacon help added an extra flavor and soften and bring out a great taste of the flesh.

A light, mild smell like they intend to begin the first dish.


Salmon
Dill – Jerusalem Artichoke – Pear

A thick and nice smell piece of salmon and a sweet pear. This dish taste totally strong and looks green.

French scent with a very distinctive mellow flavor and strong taste, a very good match.


Chicken
Liver – Skin – Mushroom

A big and soft chicken piece, added with a liver mashed with mushrooms and outstanding special scented flavoring, given a classic taste.

Beef
Swiss Chard – Parsnip – Lavender

A thick piece of beef with a succulent string taste of sauce, eating together with a Lavender. It is a cool and beautiful menu.

A mellow and soft beautiful bottle of Burgundy.


Chocolate
Verbena – Ganache – Buttermilk

A strong, scented, soft, crispy and sticky but not very sweet. Such a nice dish.


We are enjoy eating while closely looking at the cooking process by Chef Kevin Kristensen, head chief of the restaurant.


The atmosphere is beautiful and chill out, the service is very good. Wines have very distinctive taste; Chassagne-Montracbet, Joseph Droubin Cote de Beaune, Burgundy 2012, it is a white wine that if you have a chance to taste it, you would definitely impressed with its taste. For the food, Chef Kevin has done a great cooking by provided a good match of each dish. I personally give this wine dinner event to be one of my unforgettable memory forever. After this event, there are still 2 wine dinner left through out this October.
