When thinking about Phang Nga Province, Similan or Tachai island is the most famous place. And some may know Koh Lak from a tragic event occurred many years ago. Nowadays, Phang Nga tourism is more energetic in some seasons. Small island and various marine parks are quiet during Monsoon.

Today I will take you guys to tour at Phang Nga province. We're not going to let you see Tachai and Similan island during Monsoon period but you guys will see that Phang Nga can also be a tourism attraction place for the whole year.

This trip is focused on "Eco Tourism" supported by Tourism Authority of Thailand,Phang Nga Province under a concept of "Let's go South Let's go Phang Nga"

Just 1.15 hours from Bangkok to Phuket Airport and the journey began at Bang Rong harbor. The center harbor for going to small and big island of Phang Nga.

It takes about 30 mins and costs around 200 Baht/person to go to Manor pier by speed boat. And if go by a long-tailed boat takes about 60 mins and costs 120 Baht/person to the Koh Yao Noi island . Vehicle that uses on the Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai island is two rows car, pickup truck, rental motorcycle or taxi that calculate the fee based on distances.

Koh Yao Noi

Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi are connected like an invert 'U' shape so going to Koh Yao Nai can departure from 3 provinces but departure from Bang Rong harbor is the most easiest way.

The main career here for local people is fishing. It's very lucky for visitors to see underwater animals like puffer fish, lobster, starfish that were catches by a coop. But, you can hold them only for just a few seconds that pick, otherwise these animals could be dead.

I think that travelling to see local people lifestyle is one of Thailand interesting things.

Foreigners or even Thai people also love this old style of living. "Still Slowly Life",means walk slowly and live a simple life. Moving your life here from a chaotic city life can brings you joy and peaceful.

Just for 10 mins of sailing away, the land becomes a source of money for local people here..

Middle of the sea is like the high buildings in Bangkok where many offices are located and working.

This is not a skyscraper, but just a small place where people around here can make enough for living.

"I will catch lobster for you" fisherman said. The fisherman described how coop works, for me he is like a teacher. Teaching me much knowledge of aquatic animal life that was not written in textbook which I can experience with my own eyes.

Dining seafood Buffet at Home stay at Leam Sai costs 300 Baht/person. We eat lots of steamed crabs here, around 6 pieces each and we are full enough.

Sunset is a sign that we all need to take a rest, please be ready for the next day.

For accommodation at Koh Yao Noi, I stayed here at The Paradise Koh Yao Boutique Beach Resort @ Spa.

My first impression about this place is quiet and privacy but I would not go in details about this place because I have already made a review about this hotel which participated in Thailand Boutique Awards in 2014-2015.

Bathroom door can open and chill out at the outside balcony.

Breakfast Buffet is not too much and not too little.

Fulfill some energy.

There are both indoor and outdoor seats to feel natural breeze in the morning.

I can say it " happy time" when relaxing after breakfast by staring at the sea, blue sky, and blue sea water.

Next activity is trekking from the hotel to Klein bay.

The atmosphere is so pleasant, plenty of trees and Hornbills for travelers to enjoy during trekking.

There is a big tree that 20 people can entwine around it, showing the integrity of nature in the forest.

Even the wind is strong but has a little impact to this side of the sea.

This area is protected by the outer valleys and bays so during Monsoon period people can still travel here.

The boat is docked at Ko Kut. Travelers come here for sailing and kayaking. This island is located in the north of Koh Yao Noi.

After travelling to Koh Yao Noi, I will take you to Koh Yao Yai. Taking 15 mins by boat at Ma Noh harbor, Koh Yao Noi to go to Klong Yae at Koh Yao Yai.

Koh Yao Yai

When compare an area and a number of population of people living on this island , Koh Yao Yai has a greater population than Koh Yao Noi. But, Koh Yao Noi has more in terms of facilities and government agencies.

Moreover, on Koh Yao Noi has 7-11 shops too. Almost 100% of local people living of this island is Muslim but you don't have to be afraid because they are friendly and gentle.

Another local product that is considered as the souvenirs one for people who come to Koh Yao Yai is Thai coconut macaroon ( Ba Bin dessert). There are lots of coconut here so that why Thai coconut macaroon at Koh Yao Yai is so famous and delicious.

Next activity is Kayak, immerse yourself to mangrove forest.

Let your heart free and independent, let go of fussy stuff and breathe in the fresh air.

It's considered as an exercising and relaxing at the same time.

Another highlight of travelling to Koh Yao Yai is to see the sunset at Loh Paret Beach.

Taking children out to the beach in the evening, you could not see this picture when live in the town.

The place is peaceful, quiet and beautiful.

This evening we went to seafood restaurant, the restaurant has good atmosphere since it's next to the sea.

Lots of sea food menus but not a buffet.

Another day to see sunset.

I am so lucky to see such a beautiful of nature from this trip.

I stayed at Koh Yao Yai Village this night.

The room is a wide space semi-outdoor with a cement cooling floor.

There is a small space for chitchat at night.

There is a big salt pond.

You can see the beautiful of sun rise from the room and going out to feel fresh air at the beach during the daybreak.

The breakfast room is open-air with a cool breeze blowing through.

Breakfast line offers a various choices not much and not less.

An energetic breakfast of mine.

I have to prepare my stuffs and get ready to go back to Phang Nga after breakfast.

Let's see other interesting places, Ban Song Phraek at Phang Nga.

Activity for today is rafting. I still thinking that how are we going to raft when it's not a rainy season?

Many foreign tourists here, only few Thai tourists.

Staff will explain about the safety issues before we raft. But still, I haven't seen anything like here, 30 floating ships here!!.

Not so long after the beep sound of releasing water. There is a damn to keep the water and will release it for only 2-3 times a day, according to time schedule 11.00, 13.00,15.00

15 mins after releasing water, the first ship left the port towards various natural rocks.

No one knows that we can still raft during a hot day. Such a fun activity.

We are having fun ^^.

Rafting takes 1 hour, dangerous level is at level 3 but a well safety system is set at every point that we move through.

After we are tired from the adventure activity, it's time to try local food at Idin Boutique Resort.

It's both restaurant and resort.

Shrimp sauce, yellow curry, fried fish, fried mushrooms, fried fish with herbs are delicious and suitable uptown people. I really like it!!

Time goes so fast, it's time to back to a real world.

Is it true that relaxing time always go fast?

Next review is still at Phang Nga because not only Similan or Tachai island that are well known. Next I will take you to see more adventures but still safe activities...

I would like to Thank Tourism Authority of Thailand in Phang Nga for inviting me to travel this time.

Thank to to fellow travelers bloggers.

Thank to friendly and great welcome from Muslims on Koh Yao Noi, Koh Yao Yai.

Thanks to a small province but very attractive "Phang Nga" that makes me see a beautiful of nature, including the simple life of Phang Nga people, "Slowly Life". I can say that I'm in love with this city.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to message me through my page http://www.facebook.com/Nejuphoto. Thank You for finish reading my review.
