🚗 Road trip ขับรถลุยอเมริกา ยาวนาน 45 วันเที่ยวไม่หยุด  🚗 

Road trip USA - 45 Days - 15,500 KM

ทริปนี้ขับรถไปประมาน 15,500 กีโล   แล้วแวะทั้งหมด 22 รัฐ east coast to west coast ไปกลับ

การเที่ยวแบบ roadtrip เป็นการเดินทางที่ผมชอบที่สุด ไม่ใช่ว่าชอบขับรถแต่ชอบตรงที่เราแวะที่ไหนก็ได้ ตามใจเรา เหนือยก็หาที่นอน บางทีอยากไปไหนก็อ้อมให้ผ่านเส้นทางนั้น ชอบการขับรถหาสถานที่ไปเรื่อยๆ เที่ยวแบบ freestyle ไม่ต้องจำกัดอะไรไว้นอกจากเป้าหมายปลายทาง

เบื่องต้นก็ไม่มีการวางแผนอะไรมากมาย มีแค่จุดหลักๆในใจที่อยากไป จากนั้นก็ใส่แต่ละที่เข้า google map เพื่อดูว่าควรไปไหนก่อน หมุดหลักๆก็จะอยู่ฝั่ง west coast หมดเลย พวกอุทยานแห่งชาติสวยมาก ถือว่าเป็น highlight ของทริป นอกจากสถานที่ที่สวยๆแล้วทริปนี้ก็กินพุงแตกสุดๆเลย  

ถนนขับค่อนข้างง่ายนะ ไม่ได้มีโค้งเยอะมาก บางถนนก็ตรงแบบ ตรงยาวมากกกกกกก อยากเหยียบให้ถึงไวแต่... ที่เมกาเขาเข้มงวดเรื่องการขับเร็วก็ต้องระวังอย่าขับเกินที่เขากำหนด ตำรวจที่นู่นจะจอดรถแอบไว้ ถ้าเราขับเร็วเกินเขาก็จะขับตามมาให้ใบสั่ง   ใบนึงหลายพันอยู่ ไม่คุ้มแถมยังโดนหักแต้มใบขับขี่อีก  

ทริปนี้ทั้งสนุกทั้งเหนื่อย ถ้ามีโอกาศก็อยากไปอีก ขนาดไปเดือนกว่ายังไปไม่ครบเลย เหลืออีกหลายที่ที่ต้องไป แล้วก็มีหลายที่ที่อยากไปซ้ำ

My cross country USA road trip from east coast to west coast was probably one of the most beautiful and memorable trips I've been on. It spanned a total of 45 days, traveling to a total of 22 states and visiting 8 national parks. Besides all the beautiful places, the food was also unforgettable; my favourite being in New Orleans and Las Vegas. I find road trips a great way to travel as it gives you the freedom to stop and go wherever you like. We rested wherever we got tired, and sometimes took detours when there was some place we wanted to pass through. [[ more description below the pictures . . . ]]

เริ่มต้นที่ NYC ... บ้านผมเอง สถานที่เที่ยวไว้ทำแยกให้นะ เยอะเกิ้น

Our starting point was New York, the place where I grew up so I won't put any of the attractions here. Would need a whole separate post just for that 😂

จาก NY เรามีเป้าหมายอยากเดินทางไป New Orleans ซึ่งเราต้องผ่านทางนี้ ไม่มีอะไรมากก แวะกิน เดินชมเมืองแล้วนอน

The first destination we wanted to head to was New Orleans. There wasn't much we wanted to see on the way so we took the most direct route which passed through Virginia, Tennessee, and Mississippi.

เราเลือกเดินทางไป New Orleans โดยวิ่งเส้น Natchez Trace จะเป็นเส้นทางชมวิวที่เต็มไปด้วยต้นไม้และธรรมชาติ ช่วงที่ไปไม่ใช่ฤดูที่ใบไม้เปลี่ยนสีถ้าได้ไปช่วงนั้นก็จะสวยมากเลย

We decided to take the scenic route by running through the natchez trace parkway. Unfortunately, the best time to travel through here would probably be fall as that is when the leaves are most beautiful.

New Orleans เมืองแห่งวัฒนธรรม ทุกอย่างดูเก่าแก่ ตึกตกแต่งสีอย่างคลาสิก สวยงามมาก อาหารที่นี่ก็เด็ด อร่อยทุกอย่างเลย เห้อออ พูดแล้วหิว อยากไปกินอีก

New Orleans was one of my favourite places. There was just so much vibrance and culture in the city, and everybody seemed so happy and festive. It is definitely the place to go if you want to party. We were lucky there was jazz festival in the park at the time, and people were just dancing all over the place.

This was one of my favourite places... everything was so fresh ! The crab... the oyster... the bisque... just delicious !

ร้านในตำนาน ร้านนี้ดังขนมกับกาแฟ ใครมาต้องลองง

อันนี้ไปเจอในตลาดคนเดินเล็กๆ chocolate daquiri หรืออะไรสักอย่าง อร่อยมาก

หื้มมมมมม อาหารเขาก็จะเป็นแบบนี้อะ กี่ cal อย่าพื่งไปคิด 555 อร่อยมาก mac and cheese ของโปรดเลย เอามาใส่ burger อีก !! 

กินอิ่มๆก็ไปเดินในสวน บรรยากาศดี สวย โล่งมาก

มาที่นี่ต้องลองทาน crawfish เป็นอาหารพื้นเมือง

จาก New Orleans เรามุ่งหน้าไปทาง Grand Canyon โดยเราใช้เส้นทางขับผ่าน Texas เราเจอร้าน bbq ร้านนี้ โอ้โห สุดปังจริงๆ เนื้ออย่างนุ่ม หลุดออกจากกระดูกเลย อร่อยที่สุดเท่าที่กินมาก็ว่าไปได้

From New Orleans, our next destination was Arizona. We passed through Texas and this was one of the restaurants we stopped at. Probably THE BEST BBQ I've ever had. The meat was so tender and juicy, and the sauce was just right!

One of the attractions in Austin Texas. DO NOT wear nice shoes here because they will get dirty with spray paint like mine did  

ที่นี่ตั้งขึ้นมาตั้งแต่ปี 1974 มี รถ cadillac ทั้งหมด 10 คัน สามารถเข้าไปพ้นสเปรย์บนรถได้เหมือนกัน

This is another place in Texas that allows you to spray paint, this time, on Cadillacs.

Santa Fe : 

เมืองนี้สวยมาก ตึกจะเป็นโทนสีส้มหมดเลย จริงๆมีหนึ่งสถานที่ที่อยากไป แต่วันที่เราไปดันเป็นวันหยุดพอดี   ถ้าใครไปลองดู > meow wolf santa fe

We slept at Santa Fe for one night before heading towards the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The architecture here was just amazing, drawing inspiration from traditional Pueblo-style exteriors, resembling adobe homes.

เราเข้าชมอุทยานแห่งชาตินี้โดยการขับรถตามเส้นทาง มีจุดจอดให้ลงชมในจุดต่างๆ

The first national park we got to visit was Petrified Forest. This place was hugeeee. There are several attractions within the park, and it is easy to navigate through as there are signs that will direct you to each one.

ฝั่ง west coast ก็จะมีเส้นถนนที่ตรงยาวมาก ขับชิววว

อะ เราเริ่มเข้าไป Arizona ละ จากนี้ก็จะมีแต่ความส้มๆ 😂 ส้มแทบทุกที่ จริงๆเที่ยวได้เป็นวันเลยนะโซนนี้ ยังมีหลายที่ที่ยังไม่ได้ไปเลย

Arizona is famous for its landscape and rock formations. There are a bunch of beautiful places to visit, and we only got to visit a few. It's so big you can spend days exploring all the places.

หลายๆคนคงรู้จักที่นี่ Grand Canyon สวยใหญ่อลังมาก มี hiking trails เยอะมาก เดินชมวิวได้ทั้งวันเลย ช่วงนั้นอากาศดีมากนะ ไม่ร้อนเลย ใส่เสื้อหนาวด้วยซ้ำแต่ก็โดนแดดทั้งวัน หน้าก็แดงๆนิดนึง แนะนำให้ทาครีมกันแดดไปด้วยย ถึงจะไม่ร้อน แต่หน้าก็ยังไหม้ได้ 😂

น้องไม่กลัวคนไม่อายกล้องเลย คนยืนรุม ดูมันกิน 55

ร้านไอติมในอุทยานก็อร่อย สดชื่นมากตอนนั้นเพราะเดินเหนื่อยมาก

การเข้าชม Antelope Canyon ต้องใช้ไกด์ โดยเขาจะพาลงไปเป็นกลุ่ม เราเลือกอยู่หลังสุดจะได้ไม่รู้สึกกดดันตอนหยุดถ่ายรูป 555 สามรถ walk-in ได้นะครับ จ่ายค่าเข้าหน้างานเลย $8 fee บวกค่าไกด์จำไม่ได้ น่าจะประมาน $25-40 ต่อคน

Lower Antelope Canyon was probably one of the most beautiful places we got to visit in Arizona. The way the spiral rock arches form is just amazing. The only way to visit this is by a guided tour. They take you down in groups and it's pretty rushed through in my opinion.

Monument valley เป็นอีกหนึ่งสถานที่ฟิวเหมือนอยู่คนละโลกเลย นึกว่าไป Mars ที่นี่ไม่ได้เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาตินะเพราะอยู่ในเขตชาวนาวาโฮ มีอีกหลายที่ใน Arizona/Utah แบบที่นี่เป็น last stop โซนนี้ เพราะแต่ตอนนั้นคือขับรถชมนู่นนี่ทั้งวันซึ่งมันก็มีความคร้ายกันนิดนึง ตอนนั้นเบื่อความส้มแล้ว 55 แต่ตอนนี้แบบ น่าจะไปอีก เก็บไว้อีกทริปหน้าละกันเนอะ

Monument valley was our final destination in Arizona. We had planned to go to other places as well but by that time, we were pretty tired of seeing all the orange. One side of me was like... it's all the same its just orange rocks, but at the time same, I regret not going to the other places because looking at pictures of them, there are a lot of places we missed. Monument valley was incredible though. It was like being in some Mars movie scene... unreal. This isn't considered a national park though, as it is on Navajo territory.

สถานีต่อไปปปป Las Vegas

ก่อนถึงเวกัส เราแวะถ่ายรูปกันที่ Hoover Dam ก่อน

Las Vegas เราเคยไปมาแล้วก่อนนี้น่าจะสองครั้งแล้วเลยไม่ได้ถ่ายอะไรมาก

I've been to Vegas a couple times already so I didn't take many pictures here.

แต่.... มีร้านนึงที่อร่อยมากกกกก อยากจะแนะนำ Marisocos Playa Escondida เป็นอาหารทะเล Mexican ร้านนี้เด็ดมาก ร้านโปรดก็ว่าไปได้ ‼️ อาหารทั้งสดทั้งถูก คุ้มเว่อออออ!!!!!! กินไป 2 วันเลย

I HIGHLY DO RECOMMEND this restaurant. The food was just amazing!! Not only that, it wasn't that expensive too, and the portions they gave were just hugeee. We ended up eating here twice !

Death Valley national park ... สองคำ ... ร้อนจัด ‼️ เขาว่าเป็น 1 ในสถานที่ที่ร้อนที่สุดบนโลก ... เชื่อแหละ ร้อนแล้วแห้งมาก ลงแปบเดียวก็อยากวิ่งขึ้นรถแล้ว

Death Valley is known to be one of hottest places on earth. I can confirm that... 😂

อันนี้เป็นทะเลเกลือนะครับ Salt flat .. เป็นส่วนนึงของ death valley

จาก Death Valley ก็ขับรถมุ่งหน้าไป Los Angeles California

นึกว่า New York รถติดแต่พอมานี่ โอโห รถติดมากกกกจริงๆ เราไม่ได้เที่ยวอะไรมากทีนี่เพราะแวะมาหาเพื่อนเฉยๆ จำได้ว่ามีแวะ Venice Beach กับ Hollywood walk of fame ตอนกลางคืน

จาก LA เราขับรถต่อไป Yosemite National Park โดยขับผ่าน Sequoia National Park ดินแดนแห่งต้นไม้ยักษ์

เราดูเป็นตัวเล็กๆเลย

ต้นนี้ใหญ่มาก ขับรถมุดได้เลย

Secret Cove Nudist beach เป็นทะเลที่ลึกลับมาก กว่าจะถึงต้องเดินลงเขา ขาลงไม่เท่าไหร่ ขาขึ้นนี่แหละอเหนื่อย เมื่อก่อนเป็นทะเลที่คนจะไปแล้วแก้ผ้า ที่มาของคำว่า nudist beach แต่ว่าเดี๋ยวนี้เขาไม่ให้ทำแล้วนะ ผิดกฏหมาย 😂

So this was a nice find. We stumbled upon what seems to be a secret beach. It used to be a nudist beach but that's no longer allowed by law enforcement. The hike down was pretty far and you couldn't tell there was anything down there just by looking because it was covered in trees. We were surprised at how beautiful it was when we arrived. The hike back up was no joke though, pretty steep !

San Francisco เราก็เคยมาแล้ว 2 ครั้งก่อนนี้เลยไม่ได้ถ่ายอะไรมากเหมือนกัน มีแต่รูปตรงสะพานกับบน pier 39 ก็จัดไป 1 ท่า ... ถ่ายยังไงให้โลกจำ 🤣 ส่วน pier 39 จะมีของกินเยอะมาก กับตัวอุ๋งๆด้วยนะ

I've been to SF twice so didn't take many photos here as well. Of course, a photo with the golden gate bridge is a must 😂 . Pier 39 is a good place to go for a walk and grab some food.

ออกจาก SF ก้จะใช้ route 1 คือเส้นทางตรง coastline California เป็นเส้นทางที่สวยมากๆ ถ้าหน้าร้อนก็อยากลงไปเล่นทะเลแต่ช่วงที่เราไปมันหนาวก็ได้แต่มอง เส้นนี้จะอ้อมนิดหน่อย แต่ก็ยังได้มีอะไรสวยๆให้ดูตลอดทาง

We traveled north from SF by taking the scenic route, route 1. The coastline was just beautiful all along the way.

อันนี้คือ Fail 1 ของทริป คือจริงๆมันสวยมากเลยนะ แต่ตอนเราไปหิมะตก มองไม่เห็นอะไรเลย 555 ลองไปดูรูปใน google กันนะ แล้วจะเข้าใจ

..

So... this was definitely unexpected. The drive up to crater lake was pretty long and difficult as it was snowing pretty heavy. It was a shame that by the time we got up there, we COULD NOT see anything at all. Waste of a drive! Everything was just covered in snow. Would've been beautiful though!

เราแวะมาที่นี่เพื่อเยี่ยมญาติ ไม่มีอะไรมาก แต่รู้สึกว่าเมืองเขาสะอาดมาก ไม่เจอขยะแม้แต่ชิ้นเดียวบนถนน

We stopped here to visit some family. Not much, but a very clean city I must say.

เหยคืออยากจะบอกว่าโลกนี้มันกลมมากจริงๆ คือ อันนี้เพื่อนตั้งแต่เรียน highschool ไม่ได้เจอกันหลายปีมาก บ้านทั้งสองคนอยู่ที่ New York แต่ดันไปเจอกันด้วยบังเอินในร้านอาหารที่ Yellowstone เป็นไปได้ไงเนี่ย

เราชอบที่นี่มากเลย มีหลายจุด สวยๆทั้งนั้น ช่วงนั้นไปเดือนพฤษภา อากาศดีมาก ไม่หนาวไม่ร้อน

Glacier National Park, Montana จะมีสองทางเข้า East กับ West ส่วนเราเริ่มต้นที่ West เพราะขับรถมาจากทางไต้ ซึ่งจะใกล้ทางเข้านี้มากกว่า เราสามารขับทะรุเส้นทางนี้โดยถนนชื่อดังชื่อ "Going To The Sun Road" เส้นนี้สวยมากๆแล้วจะมีจุดชมวิวแล้วที่จอดรถระหว่างทางให้แวะถ่ายหรือจะลงไปเดินลุยป่าก็มี

Okay so glacier national park is up there on my list. Every part of it was just beautiful. A MUST for those traveling around here.

สถานีแรกที่เราขับผ่านคือ Apgar village เป็นหมู่บ้านเล็กๆติดริมนำ้ทะเลทราบ Lake McDonald ทะเลทราบนี้สวยมากละล้อมรอบด้วยต้นไม้กับภูเข้า นำ้นิ่งมากจนเราสามารถเห็นทั้งภูเขาทั้งฟ้าสะท้อนแสงบนนำ้เหมือนกระจก

ขับตรงไปอิกประมาน 24กีโล จะเจอที่จอดรถแล้วที่ตั้งแคมป์ Avalanche Campground จากที่เราลงจอดแล้วเริ่มเดินไป Avalanche Lake Trail ที่ติดอยู่กับ Trail of the Cedars . Avalanche Lake Trail ยาวกว่า ประมาน 6.5กีโล เราเลยเลือกที่จะไปอันนี้ก่อน เค้าบอกว่าเดินไปกลับน่าจะ 4 ชั่วโมงแต่ที่จริงไม่ถึง 2 ชั่วโมงเลย อันนี้เป็นหนึ่ง hiking trail ที่ต้องไปนะ เดินไกลพอสมควรแหละแต่เชื่อดิว่าคุ้มแน่

ทางเข้าแอบน่ากลัวนิดๆ มีป้ายเตือนว่าในนี้อาจจะเจอหมี🙈 พร้อมคำแนะนำให้เอาตัวรอดเช่น

1. อย่าเดินคนเดียว

2. ให้ทำเสียงตลอด พวกสัตว์จะได้รู้ว่ามีคนอยู่แล้วไม่มารบกวน...

ก่อนนี้ก้ไปอ่านไว้เลยว่าถ้าเจอหมีต้องทำยังไง... ห้ามวิ่งหนี เพราะยังไงก้หนีไม่ทัน ต้องอยู่นิ่งๆ คุยกับหมีให้หมีรู้วว่าเราเป็นคน 😂

ทางเข้ามีบันไดนิดนึงแต่จากนั้นไปเป็นป่าเป็นดินล้วนๆ ทางมันปีนขึ้นเรื่อยๆแต่ก้ไม่เหนื่อยมาก ขึ้นบันไดเดินไปนิดนึงก้จะเจออ่าวชื่อ Avalanche Creek นำ้สวยละใสมาก เดินไปสักพักก้เริ่มหิวนำ้คอแห้งละ ไม่ได้เอานำ้มาด้วย แนะนำให้พกไว้ถ้าได้ไป ... เดินไป 10... 20.... 30... นาทีก้ไม่เจออะไร เห็นแต่ต้นไม้แล้วเริ่มถามในใจว่าเมื่อไหร่จะถึงสักที 555

There is a hiking trail we took and I'm glad we did. It was pretty far but the final destination was so worth it. They definitely should be a picture in front to show people what they are going to see 😂 but with no idea of what was ahead, that's what made it most rewarding

จากทางเข้าไป 3กว่ากีโลจะถึง Avalanche Lake พอถึงแล้วก้ชื่นใจหน่อยเพราะสวยมาก หายเหนื่อยเลยทีเดียว น้ำใสสะอาดมาก ถ้าอากาศร้อนคงโดดเข้าไปว่ายน้ำแล้ว

ขากลับจะง่ายละเร็วกว่าตอนเข้ามาเพราะเราเดินลงภูเขาแทนที่จะต้องเดินขึ้น ตอนขาเดินออกก้เดินอยู่คนเดียวเพราะไปกับพ่อแม่เค้าวิ่งตามไม่ทัน แล้วตอนนั้นไม่มีใครเดินด้วยเลย สักพักก้เดินสวนทางผู้ชายคนนึงละเห็นเค้าตบมือ ทำให้จำได้ทันทีว่าป้ายที่ทางเข้าบอกให้ทำเสียงตลอดเผื่อมีหมีมาไกล้ๆ ละห้ามเดินคนเดียว ‼️ จากนั้นนี่เริ่มมองซ้ายมองขวาตบมือตลอดทางเลย

ปกติแล้วจะขับรถบนเส้น Going To The Sun Road โดยใช้เส้นทาง Logan Pass แต่ช่วงนั้นถนนปิดเพราะหิมะตกหนักมากเลยต้องรอเขาขุดออก เจ้าหน้าที่บอกว่าหิมะสูงถึงหลังคาบ้านเลย (มี visitor center ในนั้น เขาบอกตอนนั้นไม่สามารถเห็นอะไรนอกจากริมหลังคา หิมะเยอะแค่ไหนคิดดู)

เราเลยขับออกจาก West แล้วเริ่มขับไปฝั่ง East บน Highway 89 ซึ่งอ้อมหน่อย.... ประมาน 2 ชั่วโมง 😂 ถนนจะเลี้ยวไปเลี้ยวมารอบเขาเลยต้องขับค่อนข้างช้า แต่ก้มีจุดจอดรถชมวิวเรื่อยๆ พอถึงทางเข้า East Glacier จะผ่าน St Marys Visitor Center ที่เราสามารจอดรถไปถามข้อมูลหรือดูภาพจุดชมวิวต่างๆละแผนที่เส้นทาง ทางเข้านี้จะพาเรากลับไปตรง Going To The Sun Road

จาก Montana เราขับผ่านสองรัฐแต่ไม่มีอะไร แค่แวะนอน จุดต่อมาเราถึง Chicago ก็ต้องมาถ่ายรูปที่ millenium park

เราจบแค่นี้นะ 😂 มีแวะ Michigan หาญาติแล้วก็ขับกลับไป NY อันนี้คือวิธีนอนบนรถ 55 ต้องพกหมอนไปสำหรับ roadtrip นานๆแบบนี้นะ ได้หลับสบาย... แต่สุดท้ายก็ทำหายเพราะเอาลงไปที่โรงแรมแล้วลืม
