Sawaddee Krab... Hi all Readme fans, today, I'm Nai Fahsai (Mr. Fahsai) will take you to explore the land of deliciousness ......Trang City

Introduction to Trang

The word '' Trang '' is assumed to have came from these 3 meanings:

1. Trang comes from "Trangkapura", a Sanskrit word which means a gallop of a horse. The name of 12 Zodiac back then was the name of of the city fortifications surrounding the city of Nakhon Si Thammarat and Trangkapra was a naval base, so it named after this horse name.

2. Trang comes from the word Trangk which means wave.

3. Trang comes from the word Trangke, a Malayu language which means dawn. It is assumed that back then Malays and foreigners such as Chinese, Indian, and Persian were traveling to this area for trading and the time the ship arrived at Trang River Bay mouth was at dawn.

Thank you for every comment and vote that you have given to me, Nai Fahsai, hehe.

Trang is a small peaceful city. If you are ready to explore Trang, let's follow me now!

On how to get to Trang:

By Public Bus:

Trang is 828 kilometers away from Bangkok, we can take the bus from the Southern Bus Terminal Sai Tai Talin Chan Bangkok on Borommaratchachonnani Road. It is approximately 12 hours ride.

By Train:

It is the railway terminal station on Andaman Sea route, it takes about 15 hours. If you are not in a hurry, you can take the sleeping air conditioning train which will get you to Trang in the morning. It is quite chill in a way. However, you would need to book the sleeping air conditioning train ticket in advance, otherwise, the seats will not be available.

By Plane:

This trip I fly with Nok Air and it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

We can check in via our cell phone and drop our luggage at the airport. It is convenient and need not to wait in a long queue.

It's time to fly now. This trip, we will be all focusing on food.

Let's start by a light snack from Nok Kanom.

Prepare to lower the attitude and landing at Tang Airport ^^

After that, we contact a rental car from AVIS which will take us to explore Trang for 3 days.

They often offer good promotion at the travel exhibitions. Today I will be driving a new white Honda City car.

Thumrin Thana Hotel

After that, we go to the hotel, drop off our luggage and more than ready for our dinner!

This hotel is considered a provincial hotel of Trang Province. I remember as a child, I think this hotel was so luxurious and it was the best of Trang.

My room is the basic Superior room, the TV is still an old-fashioned one. If we add up 200 THB, our room will be upgraded into Deluxe.

And then we will have a LCD TV.
